In January of 2007 I purchased a baby black dutch from Jesse and I could not be happier. I was looking for something on the smaller end and Jesse helped me to find the perfect bunny, who though small, is already very sociable and curious and healthy, and I'm sure that it is because she was well taken care of since the day she was born. I am delighted with my bunny and Jesse could not have been more helpful in finding the type of bunny I was looking for and in getting me started. (She gave me a bag each of hay and food and told me what to look for in the mix.) She also continues to give me advice on how to care for my bunny. I would recommend everyone to stop here first when looking for a pet rabbit!

After seeing a French lop at a local fair I knew that I wanted one. After an online search I found JAK Rabbitry & Rescue. As it turns out she was only 10 minutes away from my home. My wife and I were pleased with her help and knowledge of the breed. We bought a buck and a doe and they are great. I can't wait to see them grow. We got our french lop buck named Peepop from Jesse Flaherty early January. We had lost our mini lop tragically and were really upset about the whole thing. I had done some research on lop rabbits and decided on getting a French Lop. We live in North Carolina and I was looking for a breeder down here and came across Jesee Flaherty's rabbitry site from the Rabbit and Cavy Directory. She is located in Western PA but I did not care how far I needed to go to obtain our french lop. From the very beginning Jesse has been nothing but very informative, friendly and professional. Her knowledge about rabbits is extensive. The customer service that she has provided for us has been exceptional. I knew that I had found the right breeder once I started to communicate back and forth with Jesse via email. She would make pictures and videos of our future family member. We found out about Jesse's Dutch rabbits through a recommendation at a 4H club meeting. We drove four hours from Northern Virginia to Pittsburgh to purchase two beautiful bunnies (a chocolate and a steel) for our 5 year-old and 7 year-old daughters. Jesse was clearly an expert in breeding and handling. She took extra time with us getting the bunnies settled for their four hour car ride back to Virginia. He's very docile and relaxed. I would have to say that is due to the

Tragically, my mini lop died in March 2008 and I knew my life would not be complete without a bunny in it. I found JAK Rabbitry through various websites and I noticed that she had French Lops which were bigger than what my mini lop was, but I was very curious and wanted to know more about the breed. I contacted Jesse from JAK Rabbitry and she was delighted to help me in my quest to find a new bunny to love and care for. The more I learned about French Lops, the more I fell in love with them. We are the Walters family from McDonald, Ohio. Our family includes my husband and I and our four boys. We recently purchased two squirrel colored french lop doe babies from Jesse. I wanted to take the time to write on her testimonial page because I think people should know what a great experience we had. I had communicated with Jesse several times about purchasing two french lops. She took the time to give me various websites to check for information, different bunnies that she currently had available and even some that were to be born. Jesse even encouraged me to take my time,discuss it with all of my family and then decide if we wanted to take a ride out to see the bunnies. I was impressed with how professional, courteous and knowledgeable she was about all aspects concerning bunnies. I was very comfortable with her right from the start. Her bunnies were loved, beautiful, and obviously well cared for. I commend her on her rescue efforts as well. She had a barn filled with animals that she had rescued and they were just as beautiful and loved! We spent a lot of time looking, holding and then deciding on what bunnies would best suit our family. We couldn't be happier. Jesse even offered to give us advice about raising bunnies even if we didn't purchase the bunnies from her. That's a true sign that she is professional and cares about animals in general. Our bunnies are well adjusted and became potty trained and house bunnies in no time at all.

We bought a dutch doe from Jesse after my daughter's mixed breed rabbit died. We brought her home and "Emily" just fit right in almost like she had lived here all her life.
